HTML, CSS... - My Journey

HTML, CSS... - My Journey

Hi, My name is Danesh Tolani and I am writing this article to share my web development journey I have covered until now. I joined iNeuron JavaScript FullStack Web Development course led by Hitesh Choudhary Sir in the month of July. I had done some HTML and CSS before joining this course so I thought it would be a bit easy because what I have mostly seen is there are less number of projects under these courses and one can easily complete, but man I was totally wrong. In the first week itself, we got 15 web pages to develop. At first, I thought Okay... they must be easy, why would someone give tough web pages to beginners but again this was a misconception I had in my mind.

I am currently working full-time at a company, so for me taking out spare time after work and all the household stuff was a tough task but the stakes were high. I was trying to find as much time that I could between my work and all and honestly that itself made me realize how much time I was wasting and how much work I can squeeze in small time.

So the first week, did not have much experience with HTML and CSS. Started with the first project and it took 6 hours to create a single web page and understood the level of this course. Used most of the properties like flex-box, positions, margins, pseudo-selectors and many more in the first project itself, and the way the page was designed, it was very challenging for someone who is making his or her first project. But, after completing the first project it felt like bliss and motivation to start other projects was on another level.

Then started with the next projects and in a week I was able to complete 9 projects and then in the next week I was able to complete all the 15 projects, plus I learned about markdown and published four articles, and learned basics about git and how to deploy websites on Netlify and deployed all the web pages on Netlify and also prepared my first portfolio website, all this I was able to complete in two weeks.

All thanks to Hitesh Choudhary sir, the way he teaches and motivates is great.
